Passengers who have flown to Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa or Zimbabwe in the last 14 days are not allowed to travel. – This provision shall not apply to: – nationals of Malaysia; – permanent resident in Malaysia; – Passengers with a long-term visit pass. 3. Passengers must install the “MySejahtera App” on their phone and complete the health declaration at least one day before departure. 4.
Passengers must take a negative RT-PCR COVID-19 test no later than 72 hours before departure from the first boarding point. – This does not apply to: – passengers arriving from Singapore under the Vaccinecinated Travel Lanes programme; – passengers travelling to Langkawi (LGK) as part of the Langkawi travel bubble; – Passengers with an entry permit obtained from myentry.myxpats.com.my/app/; – Passengers who have travelled to Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa or Zimbabwe in the last 14 days. 5. Passengers arriving from Singapore under the Vaccinated Travel Lanes program must: – have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test no later than 2 days before departure; and – have a COVID-19 vaccination record indicating that they have been fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca (SK Bioscience), AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covishield, Covaxin, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm or Sinovac at least 14 days prior to arrival; and – have been in Singapore or Malaysia in the last 14 days; and – have a copy of the travel insurance with a minimum coverage of MYR 100,000. – The COVID-19 RT-PCR test does not apply to passengers under 2 years of age; – The COVID-19 vaccination record does not apply to passengers under 12 years of age. 6. Passengers travelling to Langkawi (LGK) as part of the Langkawi travel bubble must: – a negative RT-PCR COVID-19 test taken no later than 2 days before departure; and – a package tour from a travel agency licensed by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Malaysia (MOTAC); and – insurance to cover COVID-19 related costs with a minimum coverage of USD 80,000; and – a COVID-19 vaccination record indicating that they have been fully vaccinated at least 28 days prior to arrival with: – CanSinoBIO (Convidecia) or Janssen; or – AstraZeneca, Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac or Sputnik V at least 14 days prior to arrival. 7. Passengers with an entry permit obtained from myentry.myxpats.com.my/app/ must have: – a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken no later than 2 days before departure; and – a COVID-19 vaccination record indicating that they have been fully vaccinated at least 28 days prior to arrival with: – CanSinoBIO (Convidecia) or Janssen; or – AstraZeneca, Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac or Sputnik V at least 14 days prior to arrival.
8. Passengers who have travelled to Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa or Zimbabwe within the last 14 days must have a negative RT-PCR COVID-19 test at least 48 hours prior to departure. 9. Passengers will undergo a RT-PCR COVID-19 test upon arrival at their own expense. 10. The passenger will be medically examined and quarantined at the first point of entry at his/her own expense for 7, 10 or 14 days. – This does not apply to: – Passengers with a letter of approval for home quarantine applied on ecovid19.moh.gov.my/outbreak-portal-hqa/index. They must have a COVID-19 vaccination record showing that they have been fully vaccinated and are subject to home isolation for 7 days if they do not arrive from Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa or Zimbabwe – passengers travelling to Langkawi (LGK) with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they have been fully vaccinated at least 28 days prior to arrival with: – CanSinoBIO (Convidecia) or Janssen; or – AstraZeneca, Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac or Sputnik V at least 14 days prior to arrival, if not Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa or Zimbabwe 11.
The names of the airline`s crew must be included in the general declaration. 12. The airline crew is subject to quarantine until their next flight and must install the “MySejahtera” app on their phone. 13. The maximum transit time in Kuala Lumpur (KUL) has been reduced from 48 hours to 24 hours. 14. The transfer from an international flight to a domestic flight is not permitted. – This does not apply to: – Nationals of Malaysia travelling to Sabah and Sarawak. They must be approved by the state government; – Passengers traveling under the Langkawi travel bubble. 15.

Labuan requires foreign travelers to present a negative RT-PCR test result taken within 72 hours of departure and undergo a 14-day quarantine in special quarantine facilities upon arrival in Kuala Lumpur.
